Beautiful Bedding

Our climate in fuerteventura raises constant questions about what kind off bedding to go for, well here is a little practical advice and information gathered from over the years.

If you have a costal property and rent it one of the most practical bed covers to use is without a doubt a light throw, buy good quality and they will serve you well even under heavy rental, normal sheets not elasticated are more practical for heavy rental as elastic perishes with our salty water and sun.

Throws prove to be more practical as you can add layers and still keep the room looking well finished, cotton sheets below and on top with the throw for summer and when the temperature drops adding a blanket under the throw is sufficient.

If you live inland on higher grounds the temperature is usually lower and you may need thicker bedding, there are wonderfull thick throws available and also the option as well to have duvets here you can buy as little as 2.5 Togg as our 13 toggs are far too hot for this climate. For a proffesional look a good throw will always look better and are very easy to work with bare in mind quantities of bedding if you are renting
so you always have plenty, a lot of rental companies insist on three sets of linen and duvet covers so again throws will work out cheaper and easier to maintain in the longrun.
